Youth Move with the Power

August 12-16 marked an unforgettable week for the more than 700 Adventist youth leaders who traveled from every corner of the Pacific to attend the third Move With The Power youth leadership summit in Brisbane, Australia.

Move With The Power 3 (MWTP3) was designed to provide training and professional development for all leaders involved in youth ministry, however, MWTP3 was more than just a leadership event; it was marked by a central focus on prayer and a seeking of the Holy Spirit. It was proved to be a deeply transformative event for all who attended.

Revival & Reformation Witnessed Among Youth

Around the world, young people are stepping up in amazing ways to make a difference for Jesus. Several of these moments were witnessed at the 2011 South Caribbean Conference Youth Convention.
Ten-year-old Shafiqua Williams, a non-Adventist Pathfinder member, had delivered a presentation at an earlier Pathfinder fair that left the youth leaders so impressed, they asked her to present the Sabbath school message for the convention.

Under the theme of the Great Controversy, she underlined the times in which we live and challenged youth and leaders alike to make a greater commitment to the message of the Seventh-day Adventist church.

East Russia Union Mission Youth Congress 2011

The work in this union is very challenging. In this vast territory with a population of 22,268,723, we have only 94 Adventist churches with 6,690 church members, with a ratio of one Adventist among 3,328.  The total number of young adult Adventists in Siberia is 438.  The report was given that during the year of 2010, they baptized 40 young people and in 2011, they baptized 35 people.

Euro-Africa Division Camporee in Rome 2011

More than 2,400 Pathfinders gathered together in Rome for the Euro-Africa Division Camporee during the week of August 1-8, 2011.

The theme of the camporee was “Faith Adventure, Walking with Paul,” based on the four journeys of Paul. The mission statement for the camporee was “To accept the challenge by following Paul’s life to enjoy new ways of being winners with Jesus.” The goals of the camporee included helping Pathfinders to keep the faith, to finish the “race,” to rejoice in the Lord, and to share their hope in the second coming of Jesus.

I have been looking for the number of websites existing in the world. It is really difficult to determinate the number of websites running on the net, but I’ve found an approximate number. It seems that in February 2007, the Netcraft Web Server Survey (http://www.boutell.com/newfaq/misc/sizeofweb.html) founded 108,810,358 distinct websites.  That’s more than one year ago, it means that we have much more websites at the moment we are upgrading ours.
